No better time to play newly designed course

Chamber Member Market Harborough Golf Club is offering both new and experienced golfers the opportunity to play a course that has seen significant investment recently and that is now considered one of the best in the area. The Club is running a special ‘Open Month’ in September and the green fee is just £10 which even includes a £5 voucher to spend in the Clubhouse. Anyone playing in September as part of the Open Month promotion will also receive a 2 for 1 voucher that will enable them to return to play at a discount in the future.

With a history stretching over 110 years, the Club, which is situated on the outskirts of the town, near the Leisure Centre, has a strong membership which many put down to a reputation as being one of the friendliest around.

Club Captain John Wilson said: “We have always had a strong membership and a great atmosphere and now we have one of the best courses in the area too. We believe that the most important element of any golf club is the course and both members and visitors have been delighted with the developments over the past two years. We guarantee that anyone coming along and playing the course for the first time will enjoy it and golfers returning will see a lot of changes. Whether people are looking to join a Club for the first time or maybe look at an alternative to where they are playing at the moment, our ‘Open Month’ gives them the perfect opportunity to try us out.”

The Club has members of all ages, with strong junior and senior sections. There are plenty of opportunities for members to play social golf too, with a number of informal groups meeting at weekends, a Monday evening social, a number of mixed matches and plenty of other events  including a popular and rather challenging ‘Golf in the dark’ event in aid of Children in Need!

To take advantage of the special offer in September and to organise a time to play, just call 01858 463684 and select the ‘Pro-Shop’ option.

To take a look at the course, go to www.mhgolf.co.uk and select the ‘Course’ option and then ‘Course Images’
